Car and Vehicle Care made easy
by Car Skin
Final Finish, is technically a very advanced formulation of polymers which result in a fantastic, long lasting, better than showroom shine. It provides great depth of colour and intensity to the paintwork, it is also resistant to soapy detergent type shampoos, and is also resistant to UV and salt. We would recommend that Final Finish is used as a ‘top off’ at the end of using Car-Skins Paint Protection system, but it can also be used independently. It is simplicity itself to apply, no physical effort is required, just apply sparingly to all the paintwork, preferably with a micro fiber applicator pad or cloth and leave to dry. Simply wipe over the paintwork with a soft clean cloth, like our Soft Buff, to leave the paintwork with a shine you would have not thought possible. Their is no dusty, chalky residue from this product.
To creat that magnificent shine and prepare all the bodywork the above is 1 of the unique products used;
Look at the site which is www.car-skinltd.com and see the results from using Paint Protection 1 and then followed by using Paint Protector 2 which is the sealant,this is wher Final Finish will come into it’s own. Can anybody use the product,well the simple answer is yes. When the vehicle is protected that showroom finish will last for ages and we have ranges for all;
Cars,Motorbikes,RV’s,Caravans ( Inc Anti-Mould) Boats,JetSki,Cyclesand in the near future the new Ezi-Pze Range that will bring brilliant results into the home..Our links contain Car Sales and trusted sites that can offer car servicing etc.We have divisions in the USA and Canada,U.K,Ireland and New Zealand. Carroll Shelby Grants Classic Recreations License to Build Official Shelby Gt500cr
Carroll Shelby Grants Classic Recreations License to Build Official Shelby Gt500cr
Yukon, OK (Vocus) November 5, 2009
Classic Recreations, a noted bespoke coachbuilder known for exotic Mustang supercars that have been shipped all over the globe, has been granted a license by Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. to build an iconic continuation car based on classic 1967 and 1968 Mustangs: the Shelby GT500CR.
“I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to work with a legend like Carroll Shelby,” said Classic Recreations owner Jason Engel. “We pride ourselves on building the finest coachbuilt muscle cars in the world, and I’m thrilled that this new opportunity will allow us to build some of the fastest and coolest supercars on the road today. Other shops build cars. We sit down with a client, listen to their fantasies, and then turn those into reality.”
Every Shelby GT500CR will be built with authentic Shelby Performance parts and with input and oversight from Carroll Shelby Licensing and Shelby Automobiles technical staff. Each car built at the Classic Recreations facility will leave the shop with an official Shelby serial number, badges and will be included in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry. More details on the new model will be released shortly.
“We are still working out a few details, but I know Shelby fans will love the new car,” Engel said. “It retains the most iconic Shelby elements everyone loves with modern performance and supercar level horsepower. Then add the panache of having a real Shelby GT500CR complete with a serial number and the man’s name right on the rocker panel. For Mustang fans, you absolutely can’t beat that.”
Classic Recreations is the first custom car builder to receive an official license to build the new GT500CR model.
About Classic Recreations
Classic Recreations founder Jason Engel, and his company’s team skilled technicians and craftsmen, have been modifying and custom fabricating high-performance vehicles for more than 10 years. Benchmark Classics Will Complete the One-and-Only Tucker Convertible
Benchmark Classics Will Complete the One-and-Only Tucker Convertible
Madison, Wisconsin (PRWEB) March 13, 2009
Benchmark Classics, LLC, announces that it will complete the only convertible the Tucker Corporation ever started into production. It is believed that the prototype vehicle, which displays the stamped #57 on both its chassis and body, was to be a gift for Preston Tucker’s wife, Vera. Since #57 was never completed due to the closing of the Tucker plant, this is not a restoration project, but a completion project. Once completed, Benchmark Classics will possess the only original 1948 Tucker convertible in existence. Scheduled to be done in late spring, Benchmark Classics is eager to finally showcase this priceless piece of history that was nearly forgotten.
Preston Tucker is most remembered for his attempt to challenge the “Big Three” American auto manufacturers by starting his own progressive car company, the Tucker Corporation. At the 2008 auction at Monterey, the #38 Tucker, 1 of 51 sedans in existence, sold for $ 1,017,500. Benchmark Classics expects that the #57 convertible will sell for a substantially higher price than the #38 sedan. Benchmark Classics’ asking price for the Tucker Convertible is $ 5,000,000. The one-of-one Tucker Convertible has the potential to be an even bigger story than the 1-of-17 1937 Bugatti 57S Atalante that recently made international headlines.
Benchmark Classics will provide frequent updates of the Tucker convertible’s completion progress at http://www.tuckerconvertible.com, where pictures and video of the Tucker will be posted. For more information about the convertible or Benchmark Classics, contact Justin Cole or visit http://www.benchmarkclassics.com.
About Benchmark Classics:
Benchmark Classics is a dealership and full-service restoration facility specializing in the highest quality investment-grade vehicles. On March 15, the dealership will be celebrating its 1 year anniversary, though its restoration team has over 100 years combined experience.

Students at Academy of Art University?s School of Industrial Design Look to the Past When Designing for A Greener Future
Students at Academy of Art University’s School of Industrial Design Look to the Past When Designing for A Greener Future
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 22, 2006
Students at Academy of Art University’s School of Industrial Design have a rare resource at their fingertips: The Classic Car Museum. Housed in the “Warehouse” academic facility, 55 mint- condition classic cars serve as an educational tool for students to learn from the past as they prepare for the future. No other art and design school in the country has such a valuable resource while planning and designing for a cleaner and greener future.
Cars of the past were anything but “green”. Some of the collection’s most exquisite and rare automobiles boast lower gas mileage than today’s SUVs! The 1929 Auburn Speedster gets about 12 miles to the gallon. The 1930 Duesenberg, the country’s top luxury vehicle at the time, gets a shocking 6 miles to the gallon. Although these cars are beautiful pieces of work in their design, thankfully their presence on the road is no longer. On display in the Classic Car Museum, they now serve as a link to the past. The future’s designers can look to the great American craftsmanship of the past for inspiration designing for the future.
The School of Industrial Design doesn’t have just one specific course specializing in green design. Instead, every course has elements sprinkled throughout, thereby emphasizing environmentally friendly green design throughout the program.
Sustainability comes in several forms this semester at the School of Industrial Design. George Spassov, a senior, has designed a street sweeper/car, taking social responsibility to the next level. Cars are not only an opportunity for a clean environment, but a clean community as well.
Another socially responsible project students are tackling in Transportation Design 4 is a car for one of the city’s car sharing companies where members pay a low fee and mileage to use a car for short trips or day trips, is the inspiration for students’ design. They are focusing on how better to maximize the benefits of the service. One student is re-designing the fuel cells for optimum efficiency when multiple people use the car for short trips.
Academy of Art University is an accredited member of ACICS, NASAD, Council for Interior Design Accreditation (Formerly FIDER), (BFA-IAD), and NAAB (M-ARCH).
